Do you feel that your teen needs to talk to someone?
Are you seeing behaviors that are concerning you as a parent?

Sometimes our teens need to talk to about what may be going on in their lives. Life can get complicated during this time. There are a number of stressors that teens are faced with including, grades, getting into college, drug and alcohol pressures, in addition to experiencing changes in their relationships as they mature.

The idea that the teen years are tumultuous is merely one perspective. I firmly believe that these years are exciting times of change, growth and discovery of one's self. Teens may be frustrating for parents as they are changing developmentally, rapidly at times, and the relationships in the home are altered. I enjoy working with adolescents and their parents in order to discover a way of interacting that feels positive and effective.
